Couples Counseling

You are going through challenges and transitions in your coupleship adding to the feelings of disconnection and misunderstanding. Maybe you are navigating life as an LGBTQ+ couple and wanting to deepen your relationship. Maybe you recently welcomed a new baby to the family and navigating the transition into new identities while fostering your connection. Maybe there was an infidelity that has broken trust and you are trying to decide whether to work on the relationship or to end the relationship. You wake up confused and uncertain about this life you have built with your partner and want answers. Together, we will identify the difficulties in the relationship and determine what each person may want moving forward.

I work with many different types of couples: the ones newly coupled and wanting to start their relationship on a strong foundation; the couple that's been together for years and determining if they are right for one another; the couple that recently experienced a break in trust or infidelity; the ethically non monogamous couple; and the couple recently pregnant or who has added an additional member to their family. We will work together to grow in your communication, intimacy, and understanding of one another.

If you find yourself stuck in endless power struggles, having the same conversations over and over, it might be time to try therapy. Or you may want to take some time to work on your relationship to rekindle the connection you once had. Either way therapy can be the vehicle for change to bring back love to the relationship once again.
